Some love stories begin in the most unexpected places. For Ninos and Elena, it started in 2016, in a university club Ninos founded — and neither of them knew that walking into that room would change everything. As their Chicago wedding photography and videography team, we at Yazzen Photography & Film had the honor of capturing the day their story became forever.

Where It All Began

What started as two strangers meeting slowly unfolded into a lifetime of shared moments laughter, faith, and love. A mission trip together. A shared love for God, for their Assyrian roots, and (let's be honest) for really good food. Piece by piece, a friendship became a partnership, and a partnership became a promise.

He proposed on June 6, 2025. And after one year of planning — every little detail thoughtfully chosen Ninos and Elena said forever, right here in Chicago.
